Our Methodology
How we select, verify, and present fertility clinics — and what our labels actually mean.
How Clinics Enter Our Directory
Every clinic in our directory is identified through one of three channels: (1) direct outreach from clinic staff requesting inclusion, (2) referrals from patients who have already used a clinic, or (3) our own research of licensed fertility facilities operating in major Mexican cities.
Once a clinic is identified, a member of our team contacts them to confirm operating status, gather publicly available information (pricing ranges, services offered, languages spoken, accreditation status), and request any documentation they choose to share. We do not list clinics that fail to respond to two contact attempts, or that cannot confirm a COFEPRIS registration upon request.
What “Verified” Means
A verified clinic in our directory means we have:
- ✓Confirmed the clinic is currently operating (as of the date on their listing)
- ✓Spoken with or exchanged messages with a clinic representative
- ✓Confirmed they have or can provide a COFEPRIS registration number
- ✓Confirmed they offer IVF, IUI, or other fertility services to international patients
- ✓Recorded their self-reported pricing ranges at the time of verification
Verification is not a clinical endorsement. We do not evaluate a clinic's medical outcomes, staff qualifications, laboratory standards, or patient experience. We strongly recommend patients independently verify accreditations, request success-rate data, and consult with a specialist before making any treatment decision.
What “Featured” Means — Paid Placement Disclosure
Featured clinics pay a monthly fee ($200/mo) for premium placement in our directory.
Featured clinics appear at the top of city and all-clinics listings, receive a Featured badge on their profile, and are eligible for priority lead forwarding. Featured placement is a commercial arrangement and does not indicate that a clinic is higher-quality, more accredited, or more suitable than non-featured clinics.
Our editorial content — blog articles, clinic descriptions, and city guides — is written independently. Featured clinics do not receive preferential treatment in editorial coverage, and we do not accept payment to influence article content.
How Pricing Data Is Gathered
Pricing data is self-reported by clinics at the time of their listing or most recent update. Prices are presented as ranges (e.g. “$5,000–$7,500 USD”) because the actual cost of a cycle depends on individual protocols, medication requirements, and optional add-ons.
We update pricing when clinics notify us of changes, or during our periodic review process.
Important: Always request a written, itemized quote directly from any clinic before committing to treatment. Our pricing data is a guide for initial comparison only.
